Vicarious Trauma Group: For Counselors Only - Spring 2025
Working with other people’s trauma and grief in therapy can have lasting effects on therapists and counselors. Lasting effects that can look like struggles with symptoms such as fatigue, interrupted sleep, flashbacks of sessions, as well as decrease in work satisfaction and even motivation.
This group is a safe space for counselors and therapists to come together and process their experiences of vicarious trauma through the use of mindfulness practice, trauma informed psychoeducation, trauma informed experiential interventions and the use of EMDR group protocol for processing.
This is a processing group ONLY, NOT a training. There are no continuing education credits or certificates of completion with this group experience.
Cost: $150 for 6 sessions (Limited to 10 participants)
Dates: Every Wednesday @ 12 noon CST starting March 19th - April 23rd, 2025
